Real Time Information (RTI)
In 2012 the Tax Office introduced Real Time Information (RTI). Now it is compulsory to put all employees on PAYE even if they are on low wages. This Information has to be transmitted to HMRC every time your Payroll is processed. There are strict penalties for not complying with this legislation.
